If you haven’t been on YouTube in a while you might want to check out their latest update. Falling in line with Google’s recent launch of Google+, their social network, Google (owners of YouTube) have taken steps to integrate more social connections throughout YouTube. I wouldn’t say it resembles a social network but it certainly is more connected now. You can even stay up to date on recent Facebook videos right on YouTube! There are auto sharing features for Facebook and Twitter and Google+ is integrated as well.
The home page now has a center feed hosting videos and on the left side is a list of channels in sort of a sidebar-esque navigation menu. The channels are now more easily customizable and include templates to give them your own personal touch. Have a look at this video and see for yourself.
